Job Purpose

The School of Business is seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual reporting to the Content Strategy Manager. The successful candidate will assist with ensuring that learning content processes and procedures required for the school are met. The role will liaise with key stakeholders to ensure learning content requirements are effectively maintained to support and enhance the students' learning experience. The postholder will be required to handle both professional and business information that is of sensitive and/or confidential nature.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

·         Providing support in the learning content development process, ensuring standards are

understood and adhered to by all content authors/designers/developers.

·         Assisting the Content Strategy Manager with key activities and updates at the start of every

cohort regarding the provisioning of students onto the Hub.

·         Reviewing, auditing and formatting all programme content to ensure quality standards and

consistency are upheld.

·         Authoring, migrating, and tagging learning content onto the content management system.

·         Authoring assessment content onto the assessment exam portal.

·         Highlighting any risks to the Content Strategy Manager during the programme/module

design and development as well as the authoring and migrating process.

·         Liaising with programme teams and the Content Strategy Manager for content

improvement/updates.

·         Liaising with the Resourcing team with regards to changes in schedule and online links.

·         Regularly updating programme homepages and faculty guidance pages on the Hub.

This role will be on a hybrid contract of Home and Office Based working. The office base will be London Portsoken St.

What we're looking for
• Ideally educated to a degree level
• A clear and professional communicator both verbally and in writing
• Capable of organising, time-management and taking ownership of your workload
• A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and 365) is essential along with a high level of general digital literacy
• Able to consistently work to a high degree of accuracy and possess exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
• Team player who takes initiative
• Experience of working with different stakeholders
• Knowledge of Inspera software is a huge plus
