Job Purpose

Providing excellent support with graduation and certificate services

 

Play a key role in supporting with the organising of BPP University Graduation events, managing Certificate distribution and the development and engagement of the BPP alumni network. You will be providing administrative support in the planning and organising of graduation ceremonies; the creation, management, and issuance of award certificates; and providing academic verifications for former students You will also be managing and supporting the growth of BPP’s online alumni platform.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

·         Assisting with the delivery of all Graduation events

·         Conducting data manipulation where required

·         Producing and sending hard copy certificates as required by graduates on an ad hoc basis

·         Supporting graduates in accessing their online certificate via our eModule system

·         Responding to student queries via the Case Management System and by email

·         Providing reference requests about BPP graduates to third parties

·         Producing letters for graduates as needed

·         Liaising with various departments across the organisation

·         Responding to informal student complaints

·         Conducting any other ad hoc tasks as required to support the University Central Admissions team

·         Undertaking any other reasonable duties commensurate with the level of the role 

·         Undertaking all duties and responsibilities in compliance with the rules and regulations  

·         Adhering, complying, and working in accordance with University and Departmental policies, procedures, codes of conduct and GDPR. 

·         Participating in training and professional development associated with the role

Job Background

This role will be on a hybrid contract of Home and Office Based working with the office base being London Portsoken Street.

What we're looking for

• Knowledge of the Higher Education Sector
• Administrative experience, preferably in the education sector
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Proactive, with the ability to work within a team
• Self-motivated with an ability to thrive under pressure
• Awareness of GDPR
• Customer-focused with the ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of event management is a huge plus
• Knowledge of Banner or a similar student information system is desirable
